Jin Xuan Milk Oolong - Cultivar #12

Jin Xuan is the real deal when people talk about "milk oolong"—no flavoring, no additives, just naturally creamy tea. This comes from TTES #12, a cultivar developed in Taiwan specifically for its buttery, smooth character.

Our Jin Xuan is sourced from Zhushan village in Nantou, one of Taiwan's premier tea-growing regions. The area's climate and elevation give the tea its signature milky sweetness without any help from artificial flavoring (which, unfortunately, you'll find in a lot of "milk oolongs" out there).

When you brew it, expect a pale golden liquor with a soft, almost velvety mouthfeel. The taste is gently sweet with notes of cream and fresh butter, along with subtle floral undertones. It's incredibly smooth and easy to drink—the kind of tea that works any time of day and never gets old.

The leaves are lightly oxidized and rolled into tight balls that unfurl beautifully as they steep. You can get several good infusions from the same leaves, each one revealing a bit more of that creamy sweetness.
