Welcome to the world of Oriental Beauty, where centuries of tradition and unique processing techniques converge to create one of the most renowned teas in the world. Explore the rich history and exquisite flavors of this exceptional tea as we unveil its captivating story.
Oriental Beauty is not just a tea; it is a masterpiece crafted with precision and passion. Our tea artisans meticulously harvest each leaf by hand, ensuring that only the finest raw materials are selected. This attention to detail is essential to preserve the tea's exceptional fragrance and delicate flavor profile.

The Art of Fermentation
Central to the allure of Oriental Beauty is its distinctive fermentation process. With 60-70% fermentation, this tea embodies a perfect balance of flavors, boasting a captivating aroma and a gentle, nuanced taste that captivates the senses.
Nature plays a pivotal role in the creation of Oriental Beauty. As the tea plants flourish, they attract a special guest: the cicada. These insects, with their delicate touch, contribute to the tea's unique aroma by nibbling on the leaves during their growth. The result? A harmonious blend of fruity notes and floral undertones that elevate Oriental Beauty to unparalleled heights.

Oriental Beauty traces back to the 19th century, but it wasn't until the 20th century that its true majesty was unveiled. Legend has it that Queen Elizabeth herself, upon tasting this exceptional tea, declared it to befit royalty, christening it "Oriental Beauty." Since then, it has graced the tables of monarchs and connoisseurs alike, earning its place as a cherished treasure in the world of tea.

What is GABA?
GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is the chief inhibitory neurotransmitter in the nervous system. It is known to reduce neuronal excitability, producing a calming and anti-anxiety effect. It may also help improve focus and support better sleep.

How is GABA tea produced?
To increase the content of GABA in tea, the traditional oxidation step is carried out in an anaerobic environment — chambers filled with nitrogen. During this process, the glutamic acid naturally present in the tea leaves is converted into GABA, while caffeine and catechin levels remain largely unchanged.

Our Volcanic Gold GABA tea has a complex flavour with fruity and cinnamon notes, complemented by a mesmerizing floral aroma and a honey-coloured brew. Do not miss it!
