An exclusive Japanese black tea made from gyokuro tea leaves.
What is gyokuro?
Gyokuro is one of the most prized and rarest Japanese green teas making up about 1% of Japanese tea production. Its shading period of three weeks or more gives a high concentration of chlorophyl and antioxidants, while also reducing the bitterness contributing to a sweet and umami-rich liquor.
Japanese Wakoucha
Wakoucha literally means Japanese black tea. As the gyokuro, it is an extremely rare tea, as Japanese tea production is more focused on green teas and some oolongs.
When two of the rarest Japanese teas meet, the result is even more exclusive. The raw material for gyokuro passes through full oxidation process to deliver a golden liquor with sweet fruity notes and unmatchable aroma. Do not miss your opportunity to try it!
